GTS specializes in individual training for Forwards and Goalkeepers. We also offerteam sessions on defending, counter attacking, possession and playing into space. for every age group.

Each session is well planned and includes elements of sports psychology and sports ministry. We believe that soccer and all sports can serve a greater purpose.
meet the Coach
Matt Geier
Coach Matt is a true lover of the game and especially youth soccer. With more than 300 wins from U5 - College teams, 10 coaching licenses/diplomas, and 5 referee certifications, you could say that he has been 'all in' with soccer for nearly 40 years.

He has been fortunate enough to participate in college soccer's national tournament for several different small college divisions as a: Player, GK Coach, Head Coach, Tournament host, and only nearly missing out as a parent.
With experience as a coach from U5 through USL Div 2 professional teams, he has seen it all and relates well to players of all ages and skill levels. He has taken several goalkeepers from their first official training session as a youngster up through receiving D-1 collegiate offers.
As an official he has overseen HS and club games with nationally ranked U19 academy teams as well as professional Futsal matches.

Matt lives in Waldorf, MD with his wife Kim of 27 years and their two sons, Andrew 23, and Austin 19. Austin was voted NJCAA National GK of the week during his freshman season last fall.

We were considering some higher priced camps and clinics. The head coach recommended Matt and GST after working with them for more than a decade.
As a self proclaimed protective father, I insisted on taking her to every training session and stayed, watching carefully. I was so impressed! She was getting professional grade training at really reasonable prices.
Not only was she learning new skills and techniques by the minute, but he taught them in a way that she was implementing them almost immediately. Her transformation over the summer was incredible.
Most importantly, she loved it! She kept asking to go back, even during early mornings and bad weather. At her request, we went from 60 min to 90 min sessions. As a I watched, I was amazed at how he was able to teach her, push her, but keep it so fun. I became very comfortable, very quickly with him working with my daughter.
She not only made the team but earned the starting GK spot midway through the season for the 9-11th grade squad, on a team that repeated as state champs. The coaches could not believe her improvement in less than 4 months.
